Summary

This position is in support of operational testing of FA-18E/F aircraft. The successful applicant will support the Operational Test Director in test plan development and test execution of the aircraft's radar and related systems through data collection, reduction, analysis and reporting. Position requires day-to-day interaction with aircrew, engineers, analysts, and developmental agencies.

Required Qualifications

Minimum of an active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret clearance
A four year degree in engineering or a closely related field (physics, mathematics, operations research, etc.)
Four or more years of specialized professional experience in development or operational test and evaluation of tactical aircraft, weapons, software, or systems
Understanding and Experience with Navy Test and Evaluation (T&E) at Navy Ranges
Knowledge and/or experience in tactical employment of air-to-air/ground radar systems
Experience working with and coordinating the technical activities of multiple Government and contractor personnel on a common project
Experience developing integrated schedules for T&E efforts
Experience developing presentations with MS PowerPoint
Experience in the areas of radars, electronics, operations, communications, and basic aviation activities
Be a self starter, requiring limited to no supervision, BUT not afraid to ask questions and for assistance if uncertain of tasking

Desired Qualifications

Knowledge and/or experience with FA-18 and/or EA-6 systems and operational testing
Knowledge and/or experience with Integrated Defensive Electronic Countermeasures (IDECM) or AIM-9X on the FA-18
