Information Assurance Analyst

Summary

The Information Assurance (IA) Analyst will provide IA services to potential customers. These services will include but are not limited to the following: development of System Security Accreditation Agreement (SSAA) documentation in accordance with the DITSCAP guidelines; letters for Interim Authority to Connect (IATC), Interim Authority to Operate (IATO), and Authority to Operate (ATO); facility security and site surveys; liaison with various Government agencies and contractors to process SSAA documentation for final approval; Independent Verification and Verification (IV&V) of technical documentation; and programmatic services in the form of briefing development, technical/cost trade-off studies, and White Papers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Initial Tasking is anticipated to focus on providing SSAA documentation for an remote optical system installed on various Government facilities around the world.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of an active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret clearance
• Understanding of the entire DITSCAP process
• Experience developing SSAA documentation for Navy systems
• Experience developing IATC, IATO, and ATO letters for Navy systems
• Understanding of basic DoD facility security requirements
• Experience working with multiple Government and contractor personnel on a common project
• Experience developing presentations with MS PowerPoint
• Be a self starter, requiring limited to no supervision, BUT not be afraid to ask questions and for assistance if uncertain of tasking
• Be able to travel approximately 1-2 weeks every 4-6 weeks

Desired Qualifications

• Technical degree (math, science, engineering, etc.)
• Experience with Navy SSAA development and approval process
• Experience with Navy Protective Distribution Systems (PDS)
• Experience with SIPRNET
• Experience with DISA
• Experience with optical systems
• Ability to travel overseas to foreign countries (if potential tasking grows)
